Summary: The company of Gryffindors was bad enough. The company of naked Gryffindors – a Potter and a werewolf spawn, no less, and totally unasked for, thank you very much – was outrageous. The company of naked, muscled Gryffindors claiming a sodding Muggle prophecy device had foretold his seduction was just too much to take. All things considered, Scorpius Malfoy really was having a very, very bad week.
Warnings: Consensual sex among people aged 16, 17 and 24. DH-compliant.

Oh my goodness. ::basks in the glory of this fic:: You, oh mystery, author, WIN. I have so much love for this fic, oh yes. Thank you so very, very much! I couldn’t have hoped for anything better :)First off, I absolutely adore the way you’ve interpreted the characters. Scorpius is wonderful – sarcastic, touchy and completely adorable with it. He’s delightfully rude, totally charming and a perfect portrayal of a totally confused teen, with a Malfoy-sized ego. I love love love James – you’ve caught the flavour of Harry’s dad without making him too much of a carbon copy, and I love his easy confidence and the way he’s both mature and actually quite immature, all at once. The way he teases Scorpius is priceless, and although he has a temper and he’s obviously a bit thoughtless, you show enough of the pain he’s gone through coming out to make him a rounded and attractive character. I enjoyed your Teddy too – he felt older than the other boys, which impressed me, and he had a sharp, possessive edge of which I approved :)
I love how, in the midst of a really hot smutty story, you’ve managed to really deal with important issues – you handled the idea of homosexuality in the wizarding world really smoothly and enjoyably. Sarcastic, witty lines like “he wondered…whether Teddy had been the first one to bugger him properly, or if he’d already done that with the other boys, the mysterious, nameless ones who seemed to skulk around Hogwarts’ corridors looking for hard cocks and finding only James Potter willing to provide” really made this fic for me. You really did an excellent job of that awful alone feeling you get when you’re a teenager and you think you’re different, and that you’re the only one that’s different. I really felt sorry for Scorpius, poor love.
I love the way you tell the story – the plot’s simple but it felt involved, and it felt so much more than just a “this is how three guys end up having hot sex” story. <3 You have a real knack for humour, and I literally laughed out loud whilst reading this. The bit where Scorpius protests that he lasted more than a minute with the girl? Had me in absolute hysterics. I had to cover my mouth on the train, I was laughing so hard (yes, I was reading this in public, hehe. I have no shame!).
I also enjoyed the Harry/Draco back-story very much. I’m not always a fan of Harry/Draco running simultaneously with their sons getting it on, but you handled it deftly and the fact that you acknowledged it to be a source of embarrassment to Scorpius really made it work for me. We didn’t see very much of their relationship, but what was inferred was very touching. I approve, hee!
Oh, and the smut? SO HOT! :D

Aw, yay! I'm so glad you enjoyed it! It sort of ate my brain, so by the end I feared it may have travelled a little bit away from what you liked/asked for and ended up more just what I wanted to write. Oops. :) BUT, now that I see you wrote the Unicorn Incident (highly recc'ed here, btw), we seem to have more in common that I might have thought. :) Actually, to be honest, I got this assignment long after I'd already read your fic, and I'd be lying if I said it didn't influence my thought process on this one, even subconsciously, so, uh, you kind of wrote your own fic here, maybe? Heh.Anyway, thank you! I was really excited about this story, so it was wonderful to see that you were excited about it too. :) I've written a little bit of Teddy before, but James and Scorpius were new to me, and a Malfoy POV voice was definitely new to me, so, gah, I'm so glad it worked.
I'm glad the homophobia stuff worked for you too. I liked that part of your request, that Hogwarts not be a big gay paradise, and I'm interested in LGBT issues in fic, so it was really interesting to explore them here. And I admit I stalked your journal a little bit to see if there was anything else you might like in here, and saw you are an H/D fan, so that's how that came about - but I agree with you, it was a risk, because it could have been hugely lame to have the fathers and sons both getting off together, urf. So I'm glad that was okay. :)

What an incredible story and gift.
You captured the insecurities of being a teenager while dealing with adult issues so well and with so much humour. I just loved Scorpius in this and Teddy's portrayal was wonderful. I don't think I've read many stories where he's been this fleshed out as a character.

I've recently grown quite fond of Scorpius/James Jr, I think they've taken up status as another OTP for me. This story furthered that - I'd love to see it continued! But if it doesn't, I'll keep it in my little head that Scorp eventually wins James over and, as lovely as Teddy is, he meets with some unfortunate demise... heheheh
But yes. I loved your characterizations of them, and how you wove H/D in (number one OTP for life). I was hooked from the moment I started to read. <3

Oh, don't tempt me. This story completely ate my brain, and the back-stories to many of the small references - James coming out to his family, his first time with Teddy, Scorpius and Draco's inevitable conversation about it all - are pretty much solid in my head. *g* Perhaps if I have time, there will be more stories set in this universe, although I hate to promise. I think this story does stand well on its own, in terms of its own plot being completed. :) But thank you! I'm glad it caught your interest to that extent!

Just two of many fantastically witty lines. I really enjoyed this! Great characters, nice sexualality angst, Hogwarts-of-the-future brought to life, and much fun with the smut. Also loved Teddy playing Big Gay Brother at the end. Worth the long read!

I also really liked the glimpses we get of James and Scorpius's families -- like Harry making James call a family conference (oh, Harry!), the Black sisters having tea in secret, and Draco's mother running off to the south of France (*dies*). This sort of detail really brings the whole universe to life.
A few favorite moments:
Scorpius dropped into the opposite chair, grabbing fistfuls of his hair and squeezing his eyes closed, and when he'd recovered slightly, he spent the next two hours trying to keep James from figuring out that Muggle Ouija boards most certainly did work for wizards, except when stupid, arrogant sixteen-year-old berks bollixed them up completely, and then they went rogue and embarked on a rampage of humiliation directed by God only knew what higher fucking power.
I died laughing at this part. At the entire scene, really. *pets Scorpius*
A boy had sucked him off, he'd come harder than ever before in his life and now he was going to have to put up with rain clouds everywhere he went, withstand all the same ridicule that James Potter did.
Oh, Scorpius. I feel badly for him, but he's a total teenager here, isn't he? "My life is OVER! WOE!" *pets him again*
Scorpius rolled his eyes up to the ceiling, huffing out a breath. Great. Just great. He sounded like a poster child for a serial killer now, the kind that kidnapped young boys and stripped their skin off, keeping it in the freezer and wanking to it every night.
*shrieks with laughter*

Wow, this is just a brilliant fic! I'm not a huge fan of threesomes, but this was just pure sex and snark. I loved the dynamics and how the characters never broke out of their characterizations.It was an interesting perspective on the whole "being gay" in the world and I found it refreshing and much closer to reality in many places in the world.
I love this fics to bits and pieces it was so funny but touching at the same time! Oh, and Teddy... I think you've moved the bar up a level or two for new storied involving him! He was so hot!

I laughed so much and smiled through the whole thing - Scorpius is a dear and the late night interactions between him and James were BRILLIANT. Teddy came in half way and still made his presence felt - man, at the end I was scared for Scorpius because Teddy was so protective over James -maybe even a bit threatened? The werewolf bits in him were showing.
And I desperately want to hit the fast forward button and see the three of them hook up again in future years. I want to see Teddy and Scorpius get to know each other better while James still drives them insane with his needs haha.
Going back to the fic - the point where the Ouji board mentioned Barret made me wonder if there was going to be a side plot with him and I admit I was sad to find there wasn't. It makes me recall research where homophobic men are said to experience homosexual arousal (so the guys are basically in denial/in the closet). This fic is a wonderful oneshot and yet I can still see Scorpius in a couple of years getting int trouble with Barret, and hooking up permanently with James and Teddy.
GAAAAAH. I LOVE THIS FIC. I admit my next gen OTP is James/Scorpius so this fic was right up my alley. There is so little of the ship that my eyes sting at the thought of how rare fabulous fic like this will always be. Been waiting for this fic for almost a YEAR. It's what I've wanted for so long, and you delivered. As you can see I'm still flailing and having difficulty being really coherent but DAMN, I am so floored.
Maybe it's because not only were the sex scenes blazingly hot, but the characterization and interaction and the plot - they were beyond anything I expected - I hoped but did not expect it. And the way you were able to include my OTP, H/D an not have all the pairings clash horribly but rather make them even better - I am in awe. Crap, WHO ARE YOU?
As you can see I am entirely overwhelmed by your writing abilities so let me just say, thank you for a uniquely amazing read. I will always remember this fic and will reread quite a few times in future.

I'm so glad the characters worked for you - they're a little bit new to me, especially James and Scorpius (I've written a bit more Teddy before), so I was nervous about them. Teddy being possessive of James - ha, yes! I think so! And James loves that, of course... :) But I like to think Scorpius won't be leaving with a broken heart, that night or any other. He's got a whole new world open to him now, and he intends to make the most of it. :) I think James and Teddy will always be very important to him, though, and hey, they might have to have a casual threesome arrangement every so often...

Oh, that's interesting! I admit I hadn't thought of that, but given more time, something like that might have found its way in, sure. The dirty secret of this story is that it was actually a pinch hit, so I would have liked it to be longer and plottier, but I ran out of time. :) But you're right: men that homophobic might indeed have something else going on, deep down.

This was so incredible. I haven't really read much from with Scorpious, Teddy or James, but you have completely perked my interest. The characterisation was amazing for the three of them. I love how Teddy is the sexy, older man. He reminds me of the sexy older family friend or distant realtion who you have always had a secret thing for, but never acted on it, or told anyone because it's too wrong.
However, James completely acts out all the fantasies, which is excellent. Scorpious was just such a sweet guy, it made you really feel for him. And James was everything you wanted Harry to be when he was in Hogwarts, but more.
As a devoted H/D shipper, I loved seeing the next generation having similar attributes to their fathers, but being different characters.
This is such a messy comment that is really unconstructive, but I just needed to let you know that the writing was amazing, the smut was of the highest quality (!) and that you have opened my eyes to this brilliant new threesome.

I love, love, LOVE this fic. I've read James/Teddy and James/Scorpius, but I never thought about combining the three. BOY DID YOU DO A GOOD JOB OF IT.
Your characterisations are spot on. All three of the characters are well-developed and consistent. I love how Teddy's the sexy, collected older man, but he still has a genuine soft spot for James. Speaking of, your James is one of the best I've read so far. He was... omfg words cannot describe. And, of course, Scorpius was exactly like I pictured him: with many of his father's values and personality quirks, but still different enough to be his own person.
I absolutely love your writing style. It flows well and it feels very realistic. Your boys are BOYS, which is the best part of the fic (and the porn, which is OMFGSOGOOD, and the perfect-not-forced inclusion of H/D, but those are givens).
In conclusion, I LOVE YOU AND YOUR FIC. Thank you for writing one of the only threesome fics I've ever enjoyed :D

You did such a great job with this story. It is hot and funny and hot and adorable and hot and well-written and did I mention "hot"?
The characterization of both James and Scorpius are fantastic, you gave them both a voice of their own, while still managing to show what they take after their fathers. And Teddy... Oh boy! So sexy.

So here's the joke. I've had a tab open with this story since early April, swearing each night that I'll read it. I started before the reveal was revealed, but I was so taken in by it that I couldn't do it proper justice just reading piece by piece. I decided to put it off until this w/end when I would actually HAVE the time to read it! I'd started to formulate my comment on it before I knew it was your fic, so you can't call me biased here, aiight? :O)I. Loved it. Loved it instantly. Loved it during. Still v/much in love with it! I think I want to KEEP James! He's so strong yet can admit to being afraid, he's so full of heart like his father yet I think he's a bit edgier than Harry was, at least in canon. Teddy is pure love... almost the way I think Charlie would have been for his generation, had they all turned fag.
The board was a stroke of brilliance, I must say, and the fact that even Teddy took a couple of days to figure it out indicates just how bollixed up that spell was! But STILL... it was almost a character of its own, and I enjoyed its heated demise. Also loved how you portrayed Scorpius' paranoia and included us in his feelings of fear and isolation. I thought that it was very realistically done - it's bad enough being a teenager, but then to have to deal with all the other crap too... *pets him*.
Got nothin' but love for this story, Lee. Once again, you freakin' ROCK

Oh, this story has about a thousand back stories and side stories in my head, including Teddy/Draco, but I'll leave it up to the reader to decide how that might have gone... or, hey, maybe Teddy's bluffing. :)
Teddy/Scorpius... yes, I considered it, but before I knew it, there was Teddy, refusing to touch the kid. My recipient for this story had explicitly asked for no under-16 sex, so I thought I was already pushing it by including a 16-year-old. I wrote age concerns right into the story, so that the characters could have the same concerns about it that the reader might, and considering that Teddy was already anxious about James being only 17, it just didn't seem in-character for him to go after Scorpius sexually, when he's only 16. I do think there was a great deal of attraction between them, but I didn't want Teddy to be too creepy. *g* I think they will have plenty of time to get together when Scorpius is a bit older... and with James's permission, of course. :)
